Born on November 14th, 1927, Bernardino Cappuccio has lived most of his life in Pioppi, except for a period of some years in which he moved with his family to Nocera, while still going back every Sunday to the native village where his parents lived. He had various jobs, and his favorite are the fisherman and the bookseller.

Bernardino talks about his love of the sea – a lifelong love – and his cooking skills and food habits.
