Farmer’s eating habits

Vittorio Colantuono is 90 years old and was born in Villanova del Battista. “In the countryside”, not “in the village”, as he himself points out. And it is in the countryside that she has always lived, dividing her childhood between school and work hours.

Vittorio loves having a hearty breakfast and then eating directly for dinner, perhaps mindful of his peasant youth when he got up very early and, to get strong, he ate abundantly, then waiting for the evening to have dinner calmly and refresh himself from fatigue.

He doesn’t drink wine, he doesn’t love him. Instead, he loves beer, in addition to water and coffee. He likes reading more than watching TV. He reads the newspapers, but “not every day” because – according to him – those interviewed, especially the politicians, are all liars.
