Born in Naples in 1957, he graduated in Economics from the University of Naples “Federico II”, with a degree in Economic History. He was qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He holds the title of PhD in History presenting a dissertation titled “The company Gonzalez de la Sierra in gaditano trade between the eighteenth and nineteenth century.”

Amedeo Lepore is Professor of Economic History at the Department of Economics of the Second University of Naples, where he holds the teachings of Economic History, the Company’s History and the History of Capitalism.
