On the beach of Nerano, right under the church of Sant’Antonio, “Maria Grazia” has been a restaurant rich in history and tradition for five generations.
Spaghetti alla Nerano was born in 1952, a dish born almost as a joke from the friendship between the landlady Donna Rosa and Prince Pupetto di Sirignano, one of her beloved customers.
A recipe handed down for years from mother to son and obviously scrupulously secret.
Tasting the spaghetti and courgettes that made the Maria Grazia restaurant and subsequently Nerano so famous is in itself an unforgettable moment.
