For over twenty years, Antonella Garofano has been pouring wine on the toothed sponges with which the “knockers” beat their breasts during the Seven-years Rituals of penance of Guardia Sanframondi. The religious ceremony is lived with deep devotion by the inhabitants of the town and neighboring territories.
