Teresa Iorio was born in 1973 in Naples. Nineteenth of twenty children, She carries on the work of her father, the master pizza maker Ernesto Iorio, in her pizzeria “Le Figlie di Iorio” in Naples, together with a team made up almost entirely of women.
Deeply tied to her family and Its history, She tells us about her childhood and training years. Which are the typical dishes of the Iorio family linked to the Neapolitan tradition on the menu of her pizzeria and how, her being a woman with a strong character, helped her in her work. Winner of the “Best pizza maker in the world” award in 2015 and the first Neapolitan woman to have obtained the title of “World Champion Trofeo Caputo STG”, She also reveals her three favorite ingredients, which have led her to be among the most famous pizza maker in the world.
