Aniello Conte is a cook, farmer and especially grandfather born in Ischia in 1947. He dedicated his life to the world of catering, working in several hotels for about thirty years. Even today, although retired, he continues to devote himself to his passions enjoying the time available to deepen the love for his land and taking care of his garden and his vineyard. We were guests of Aniello, in his fantastic estate with a beautiful sea view and a breathtaking view, surrounded by Mediterranean scents and citrus plants, myrtle and more.. During the video interview, Aniello confided and told us culinary anecdotes for him and important episodes about his childhood and his personal vision of the Mediterranean Diet.. Aniello, also delighted our senses showing us step by step the preparation ofIschia Rabbit, traditional island recipe. Finally, he invited us to his table and all together we tasted the plate: an explosion of taste and unique scents, where to be the master were the freshness of olive oil, tomatoes, garlic and parsley that he himself grows in his garden. We thank grandpa Aniello for letting us live an experience that we will bring forever in our cultural and gastronomic baggage.
